TCJ assessment

A remarkably structured wine that remains robust despite its age. More than a decade after the vintage, there is still considerable intensity and a clear sense of power, suggesting a wine built around structure rather than immediate softness.

The tannins remain marked and play a central role on the palate. There is density and firmness throughout, with maturity having added development without fundamentally changing the wine's muscular character.

What stands out most is how much structure the 2014 continues to carry. This is a powerful, firmly constructed expression that, even with significant bottle age, remains defined by its robustness and tannic presence.
