Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
The Cellar Journal LLC ("TCJ," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Newsletter and account information. If you sign up for our newsletter or create a free or paid account, we collect your email address and, for paid subscriptions, your name.
- Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles that directly under its own privacy policy.
- Contact and pitch forms. If you submit a story pitch, contributor suggestion, or other form on this site, we collect the information you provide (name, email, and any other details in the form) to respond to you.
- Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we may collect basic technical information such as browser type, general location (country/region level), and pages visited, for security and to understand how the site is used.
