Character

Rich and complex, combining ripe fruit and an unctuous texture with enough acidity to retain balance.

TCJ assessment

A complex and textural white, showing ripe fruit and considerable volume from the outset. There is richness here, but it comes with enough definition to prevent the wine from feeling excessively broad.

The palate is unctuous and generous, with mature fruit providing weight and concentration. Crucially, acidity remains present throughout, bringing freshness and keeping that richness in balance.

The contrast between ripe fruit, texture and retained acidity is the wine's strongest feature. A substantial Alentejo white that manages to combine generosity with balance.
