TCJ assessment

An expressive Malvasía, showing the exuberance of fruit and floral character associated with the variety. What stands out, however, is the additional concentration and structure on the palate.

Produced by Bodegas San Román in Toro, the wine offers a different perspective on a region much more widely associated with powerful reds. Here, Malvasía provides the aromatic personality, while the wine carries considerably more weight and structure than might be expected from the variety.

Despite that concentration, the different elements remain well balanced. Fruit, floral expression and structure coexist without one dominating the others, resulting in a generous but composed white with a clear sense of identity.
