TCJ assessment

What stands out is how beautifully this wine has evolved in bottle. At eight years from the vintage, it has gained complexity and elegance without losing its identity or energy.

There is a clear sense of Syrah throughout, with the wine showing the character and structure expected from a serious expression of the variety. Bottle age has brought greater integration, making the palate increasingly composed.

The most impressive aspect is how much life remains. Already elegant and expressive today, the 2018 still feels capable of developing considerably further in bottle.
