TCJ assessment

A Chablis Grand Cru that remains far from its full potential. The 2022 is still notably young, with the different elements yet to reach complete integration and a clear sense that further bottle age will bring considerably more complexity.

The acidity is particularly impressive, providing freshness, energy and definition in a warm and challenging vintage. It gives the wine direction and keeps the palate focused, supporting the structure rather than allowing the vintage character to dominate.

This is a wine to judge as much for its trajectory as for where it stands today. Already precise and well structured, but still at an early point in its evolution, Les Blanchots 2022 should gain depth and complexity as it develops.
