TCJ assessment

Part of Éphémère, a collaborative project involving Frédéric Savart, this 2018 Blanc de Blancs shows a particularly fresh and mineral expression of Champagne. There is clarity to the fruit, but the wine is defined more by tension and precision than by richness.

The palate is beautifully balanced, with freshness and minerality providing direction from beginning to end. Nothing feels excessive, and the different elements remain tightly integrated.

Its combination of freshness, structure and restraint gives it a distinctly gastronomic character. A precise and highly balanced Champagne that feels built for the table rather than for immediate impact.
