**TCJ assessment**

An elegant and remarkably composed Brut Réserve, made particularly interesting by its format and bottle history. This 3-liter bottle had been resting in the same private cellar since 2019, giving a non-vintage Champagne an additional dimension of development.

The texture is one of its strongest attributes. Pronounced lees-derived notes bring depth and complexity, but the wine retains freshness and precision. There is a sense of evolution without tiredness, with the extended time in bottle adding complexity rather than diminishing its energy.

The balance is particularly convincing. Despite being Brut, the dosage feels completely integrated, bringing roundness without any obvious impression of sweetness. Elegant, textured and harmonious, this was a compelling example of how time and large format can add another layer to a non-vintage Champagne.
