**TCJ assessment**

A recognizable expression of the Pesquera house style, with new oak clearly apparent even at Crianza level. The wood plays a significant role in the profile, but there is enough fruit and structure underneath to maintain good overall balance.

Tinto Pesquera is one of the historic names of modern Ribera del Duero, created by Alejandro Fernández in Pesquera de Duero and built around Tempranillo. The combination of ripe regional fruit and maturation in oak has long been central to the identity of the estate, providing useful context for the stylistic signature found here.

The 2021 follows that established direction closely. The oak remains prominent, but the fruit has enough presence to support it and keep the palate composed. A classical Pesquera, clearly connected to the house style and to a more structured interpretation of Ribera del Duero.
