**TCJ assessment**

Remarkably alive after 25 years, with abundant fruit still at the center of the wine. Maturity has added complexity and depth, but there is no sense that the wine has lost its energy or definition.

The texture is particularly impressive, broad and layered while remaining elegant. There is considerable presence on the palate, yet the wine retains balance and precision, allowing its maturity to add dimension rather than weight.

What stands out most is how clearly it still speaks of Bâtard-Montrachet. The power and robustness associated with the Grand Cru remain intact, now joined by the complexity that only time can bring. A beautifully mature Burgundy that combines texture, fruit and authority without sacrificing elegance.
