**TCJ assessment**

A distinctive Coteaux Champenois Blanc defined by minerality, freshness and precision. Despite being made entirely from Pinot Noir, the wine has a particularly linear profile, with clarity and energy taking precedence over weight.

The perpetual reserve provides important context for its character. New wine is added each year to older vintages held in large Tronçais oak foudres, with the current reserve bringing together multiple vintages beginning in 2002\. The result is a wine with complexity and texture while retaining remarkable freshness.

The finish is particularly impressive, persistent, mineral and very clean. A precise and highly individual still white from Champagne, showing another dimension of Pinot Noir and the distinctive identity of the Côte des Bar.
