**TCJ assessment**

A more delicate and serious expression of Côtes du Rhône rosé, with fruit supported by particularly good acidity. There is freshness and precision on the palate, while a subtle umami-like note adds another dimension without taking the wine away from its light-footed character.

Domaine de la Solitude is a historic family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with the Lançon family’s roots in the area extending over several centuries. This rosé comes under the broader Côtes du Rhône appellation and brings together classic southern Rhône varieties, with Grenache at the center alongside Syrah and Cinsault.

What stands out is the balance between delicacy and character. The acidity gives the wine energy, while the fruit remains measured rather than exuberant. That slightly savory element makes the finish more interesting and contributes to a rosé with more personality and seriousness than its weight might initially suggest.
