**TCJ assessment**

A very good example of the character of dry white Bordeaux, combining texture and richness with enough acidity to maintain freshness and definition. The 2009 has developed well, with maturity adding breadth without compromising its balance.

The palate is notably unctuous, but acidity provides an important counterpoint. There is weight and concentration, yet the wine remains composed, with the different elements now well integrated after more than fifteen years of evolution.

A mature and convincing Blanc de Lynch-Bages, showing how well the combination of texture, acidity and richness can work in white Bordeaux. A fine example of the region’s dry white style with both substance and balance.
